Hello all...there is nothing new in New Hampshire

So I made it to New Hampshire and it's been pretty busy since I have been here. The first thing I got to do was meet one of my new roommates...who is surprisingly young...youngest roommate I have ever had actually.
Then from there I got to see one of my favorite friends ever...the kitty banes. Had to get things organized and see where everything goes and is in my new place. I am living with my good friend/sister Margaret in her new house that she is actually still moving into...its really cute.

The real funny thing is that the whole basement is painted in New England Patriots colors and there is a urinal in the bathroom...don't think that's going to find much use. The good thing is I was so tired from my flight that I fell asleep as soon as I got here at midnight and woke up at seven so I am already used to the time change. The next day Margaret and I got up early because Margaret had a savate match (french kick boxing). I would show you a picture of Margaret but due to the nasty french outfit you have to wear in this sport (almost full body spandex) Margaret would kill me if I put that picture on the Internet but I do have some of the guys fighting for you.

Then that night we drove about an hour away and watched two of Margarets gym members in some boxing matches, one at heavy weight and the other super heavy weight...sadly they didn't win :(

Today I went and took a walk around town to get an idea of where stuff is and how long its going to take me to walk around everywhere. I found that it takes me about an hour for me to walk from home to the university which is downtown. I also witnessed some really interesting sites. These first two pictures are for you if anyone tells you Manchester is as nice as SB.

Blech

Nice town...caring...see the charity? How about the crack pipe?
I found what appears to be the lamest park...EVER. I see how the rough streets of Manchester look like the war in Iraq...and trust me I know this is in bad taste but the picture turned out so well I had to. and I guess the city of Manchester decided to save money by laying off the public works people in town and removing all the trash cans so they didn't have to have someone empty them. But at least I have this great way to remind me where the people I love are...I hope life is great in Cali cuz its looking grim here...not the New England I was hoping for.

Don't worry...I still love you...unless the test is positive

This is for anyone who might read this...not likely. In a day and a half I leave Santa Barbara and I want you all to know that for the few people that I actually knew here you have all been awesome, supportive, caring, and best of all hilarious. I have grown SO much since I have been here in both good ways and bad. I can't say that I am overly excited about my move but I am not afraid...in fact that's how I got to Santa Barbara. In reality the one thing that bothers me the most is the friends...my very dear friends that I am going to miss the very most. These people are my hero's...and I will always look toward them.
In the short number of years I have lived here I have seen some pretty cool stuff with some pretty awesome people. Two trips to cochella, ALL my years with the AWESOME Santa Barbara arts community, great hikes to find tangerine falls with many great people, arguing the legitimacy of walking on the freeway...with the cops, many crazy bus rides, that damn stone brewing festival that I am going to miss almost as much as I will miss Larry & Debbie XOXO, seeing a trap door open up right in the end of a fantastic wine tasting event. The talent of all my friends who are writers, poets, movie makers, teachers, uh...film and lecture managers...heh, artists, chefs, dreamers and doers, musicians and winemakers, life healers (Mel b knows what I mean), revolutionary's, and shamans.
Well I could go on forever but I am drunk so I am going to go pass out and throw-up on myself (just kidding). Just know that I am going to miss you all but I bet I will see you again.

much love

I guess you don't always get what you want

I have been watching way to much TV as of late and today I was watching a show called modern marvels. The episode was talking about the technological advances of fire power during the civil war and the particular section I watched was about the Spencer Carbine. In the show they had a few quotes from diffrent union officers...one caught my as a bit rude. Here is the quote they used: "I believe 250 men armed with the Spencer Carbine rifle would be more than a match for an army of 2500 armed with any other weapon." Now you may ask why is this rude...well who do you think said that?? That's right...General George Armstrong Custer.

Whisket tango foxtrot is right...

Ashley Gilbertson was right about the war and his awesome photo chronicle of what he witnessed but I am not sure he was thinking about our supposed president when he said whiskey tango foxtrot. I just read that unjust prez bush said in regards to the fact that 4000 sons and daughters, some of which I also learned are not even American citizens but are still a large part of our armed forces, had been killed in Iraq...he said they "laid the foundations for peace." Now I don't have any kids but a VERY good friend of mine, who also was one of the only people I have ever met who also was born on x-mas day like me, died on July 16th two years ago in Iraq after being there for only two weeks...I personally am OUTRAGED at this totally crass un-sympathetic...BULLSHIT comment made by this crook. The government and the people of this country should be ashamed of not only him but what we have let them get away with and that when I was younger they also wanted to impeach president Clinton for lying about a BJ. I think I am going to go into politics and I will try to be the FIRST ever politician to be honest. Eh maybe I will just have a drink

Well if anyone is reading and wondering where all my wonderful pictures and posts about my trip are I am sorry. I am having a hard time getting the pictures off of my camera...er I mean phone. I was able to look at them on the computer for the first time yesterday and they looked good...or at least some looked ok. Soon I hope, Soon.
